Maturity and Respect

So, I know how people feel about the election and all... ...but dear lord calm down. Starting fights, insulting others, and spewing bile is not acceptable. Respect other people for their choices even if you disagree with them. Be the better man/woman and show respect, maturity, and compassion for other people. You will win no wars by building walls, burning bridges, and digging trenches, but extending olive branches, hands, and hearts.

If what you believe in is being challenged, don't sit there and wait, write to your representative and let them hear your voice, tell them your story, and more importantly, never give up, be proud, stand tall, and be a good person. It doesn't matter who you voted for, you're all people.

Act like it.
