The Frozen Primal

The Frozen Primal is a mythical crystal of incredible magic, connected to the Primal Realm of Frost, and is the conduit that most mages communicate with to access the Realm's infinite magical resources. In ancient times, the Universe used to flow with unbridled elemental energy, making the worlds incredibly unstable and susceptible to being destroyed by the infinite energies.

To solve this, Umetherial, the Primordial of Order, created a new layer of reality, the Primal Realm, as a prison for all of this primordial energy. However, founts of power such as the Frozen Primal remain on various worlds, the Primals all scattered across various locations that represent their respective element. There are eight possible Primals on one world at a time.
